Family Fish House in Mississippi

"I happened upon this family restaurant on my way back from a golf outing. I was hungry and still nearly an hour from home. I made a U-turn, pulled into the gravel parking lot, and went inside. I seated myself and listened to country folks chatting about the lack of rain, ponds drying out, crops failing. Within just a few minutes of ordering, my 3-piece catfish filet dinner came out. Sides included cole slaw, greens, hush puppies, and just the right amount of french fries. The food was great! I'm not a big fan of greens, but I've got to say, these were awesome! Friendly staff; delicious food; down home atmosphere. One could not ask for more! I'll be back for sure!"

"We were invited to a birthday party for a friend at Family Fish House. First time I ever ate there. Pretty dang good for me. I had the whole catfish plate and it was pretty good with the greens (a little too sweet) and slaw, and fixins'. Normal 'fish-house' fare. My wife had the fried shrimp and it was kinda overdone and didn't 'sit' well with her. Overall, a fine establishment."
